Where It All Began

At the heart of The Heart Matters Foster Family Agency is where it all began—our Foster Family Agency (FFA) program, now proudly celebrating 10 years of impact, growth, and unwavering commitment to youth and families.

What started as a vision to create safe, supportive homes for children in need has grown into a trusted network of resource families and professionals dedicated to changing lives every day. Through our FFA program, we carefully recruit, train, and support resource parents who open their homes and hearts to youth who have experienced trauma, instability, and loss.

But our work goes beyond placement. We believe that true impact comes from consistent support, strong relationships, and a community that shows up. Our families are never alone—we walk alongside them through every step, providing guidance, resources, and ongoing care to ensure both youth and caregivers can thrive.

Over the past decade, we have seen firsthand what happens when a young person is given stability, compassion, and the opportunity to feel safe again. Confidence is rebuilt. Trust is restored. Futures begin to take shape.

As we celebrate 10 years, our FFA program remains the foundation of who we are—a reflection of our belief that every youth deserves a place to belong, and every family deserves the support to make a lasting difference.
